NeuroNexus Institute Outreach

An important function of the NeuroNexus Institute is to increase awareness of neuroscience activities on campus.  These activities are generally supported by academic departments and other partners, but with cross-promotion by the NeuroNexus Institute.

Central Massachusetts Brain Bee

The 20th Central Massachusetts Brain Bee will be held on ther campus of Umass Chan Medical School on March 7, 2026.
The Brain Bee is a competition among high school students, testing their knowledge of Brain Facts https://www.brainfacts.org/the-brain-facts-book. The NNI has helped organize the Bee for several years. More information can be found on the Department of Neurobiology website under Education.
